Home made Pasta…
Brett and Amor have just purchased a new kitchen appliance! Coming from an Italian background, Amor has always enjoyed home made pasta, but up till now, has had to do it all by hand.

is a stainless steel appliance which is nice and compact. It is a German brand and you can make Lasagna, Ferrucine, Tagiolini and many more sizes in between as can be seen in the one photo.
It comes with rubberized feet to ensure that it sits steady on the counter when you use it.
The first dish she made was a lasagna with goats milk and according to Brett, it was the best he has ever tasted.
Toti Promenade…
Every day I hear people complaining about the state of our City. Rubbish on every side walk, road gutters choked with leaves and litter.
Sadly it is a valid complaint. But today, as I cycled along the Promenade I was so impressed with the view. No litter anywhere. The grass had been cut and the paving was swept and tidy.
Under a palm tree to the right of the path I noticed two little plastic containers that appeared to be out of place. On closer inspection I saw that some kind soul has put these two containers there to feed the feral cats.
Even Gordon Road, which is normally an eyesore with rubbish, was nice and tidy today. The thick bougainvillea, which has encroached on the pedestrian pathway for well over a year, has finally been trimmed back and the path can once again be used.
Mosquito net…
At last I am having a good night’s rest. I purchased a mosquito net on #Takealot.com and although the ideal place to hang it from is slightly compromised by the position of my overhead fan, Petros managed to drill a hole into the concrete closer to the headboard.
A wonderful purchase which I should have made years ago!
